Owning a pet is great for your mental health, it can be a fun relationship to be apart of. By playing with a cat it can calm down your nerves and provide you with an amusing time. While cats are independent animals that can hunt for food and like to explore on their own, they still choose to stay with their owners and people they trust. Most cats sleep in the weirdest positions and locations but having cat sleep on your lap is simply the best. The simplicity of this action can lead to a proper release of all kinds of burdens and reduce the amount of weight on ones shoulders. Each cat owner will tell you how much their furry friend helps them relax and unwind. There are many other people who prefer the company of dogs, however, cats can be just as equality and at times more fulfilling to own. Cats tend to meow when they are hungry, but you don't have to worry about being woken up or bothered by a cat begging for attention, which makes them the ideal pet.

Cats make excellent companions, they offer love an affection that can be equal to ours or at times greater than many of our friends. The great thing about cats is that they are low maintenance and tend to be less expensive than other animals like dogs which require hourly walks, training, frequent grooming, and more attention. You can have a cat almost anywhere including in the city. They don't need much space to play and they enjoy exploring every nook and cranny of your room which will keep them preoccupied for hours.
